So then, another end to an eventful season, and soon the beginning of the 09-10 campaign. But the summer, inbetween, has been far from boring, with the return of a Galaticos era in Madrid, the new Manchester City emerging as a possible Top 4 team with their seemingly endless resources.The arrival of new clubs: Burnley, Stoke and Wolves. How will they fair in Top Flight football? Will the relegated clubs of West Brom, Newcastle or Middlesborough bounce back or stay in the Championship? And how will Manchester Utd compete as one of the best teams in Europe, without their starman Ronaldo nor Carlos Tevez... Will Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen and Antonio Valencia be able to fill the big boots left by the 2 attackers? How will Arsenal do this season, will their youngsters finally mature and break out from that 4th spot, or will they face stiff competition from Man City? Will Chelsea's new Carlo Ancelotti bring them their heavily desired Champions League Trophy? Will Liverpool gain silverware this year, or will they face another year of no trophies and a worrying financial status?
And what about the transfers? There's still some time before August 15th, and with alot of money flying around, who knows? Adebayor and Tevez to City? Ribery to Liverpool or Chelsea? Sneijder to Chelsea?
